The main application period for undergraduate courses starting this September has now ended. However, there are still ways to gain a place at Coventry University…

Places on some of our courses may become available through the Clearing process. This process, which is operated by UCAS, is designed to match people who do not have an offer from a university or college on to a course which still has places available.

You will be able to take part in Clearing if:

For people holding conditional offers Clearing 2016 opens at Coventry on A-level results day, which this year is Thursday 18 August. Coventry University will operate a Clearing Hotline which will be open from 7.00am on that morning.

If you have met and exceeded the conditions of your CF choice, wherever that is, then first of all, congratulations! Students in this position are eligible to use the Adjustment process, which allows you the opportunity to reconsider where and what you wish you study, whilst having the security of your place being held at your original choice of university for up to five days.

If you fall into this category then we would love to hear from you. Just give the Hotline a call and let the agent you speak to know that you are interested in looking for a place through the Adjustment process. We can then get you through to a dedicated team who can have a chat about what opportunities we can offer you here at Coventry. For more information on the Adjustment process please see the UCAS website.

Please note: if you have been studying A levels, or other qualifications such as a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma or an Access Diploma, have proof of your confirmed results, and you have yet to apply anywhere this year through UCAS, we may be able to offer you a place earlier than 18 August. Please contact the Coventry University Admissions Team now on 024 7765 2222 to discuss your options.

A list of the courses with places available in Clearing will be available on our Clearing web pages from Thursday 18 August and on the UCAS search tool. General information and a “how to” video guide to Clearing is also available on the UCAS website.
